Hopefully someone on your team did receive it so check with them for your team number. If you need to look up your team number, there will be a list at team check in. Just make sure your team is on a bracket when they come out on Thursday.

If you are not on a bracket, we either missed your team somehow or you did not register. If you believe you did register, please send over your PayPal receipt and we will get it taken care of.

Welcome to the 10th Annual Fast Eddy’s Summer BAM Jam! Below is pretty much everything you need to know about team check in. You will probably want to print this email and bring it with you to team check in.

Over the next few days you will get more information on brackets, parking, event details and more.

Your team number is: [provided in team email sent Monday]

You will need this number to check your team in.

Team Check-In

Team check-in will be on Friday, August 11 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Even Stevens, 815 W Bannock Street in downtown Boise. Teams will not be able to check in before 5:00 PM as we need to train our volunteers on the check in process.

At team check in you will receive updated brackets (please note that during the tournament, official brackets will ONLY be located at the master scoreboard) and your team packs which include your shirts.

While check in is mandatory, only one team member needs to be there unless you are in the 6’0 and Under Elite Division.

All players in the Elite 6’0 and Under bracket must be at check in to be measured.

**6’0 and Under Elite**

All 6’0 and Under Elite players will need to be measured prior to participating in the tournament, no exceptions. Measurement will be at team check in. Players will be measured or they can show a valid driver’s license with their height. Eligible players will be given a wristband that can be worn on your wrist or ankle but it must be worn in order to play. To All Men’s and Women’s Elite Teams: At check in you will have a separate check in area where you will get your shirts, parking passes, etc.

Additionally, at team check in, there will be a Visitor’s Bureau representative that will speak with you. They will be asking for some information such as which hotel you are staying, how much you think you will spend this weekend, etc. This information is very important and helps the tournament in a lot of ways. Please help!

Check in parking

Please be advised, while there is street and garage parking available, there are several events going on at the same time as team check in. Player Changes If you have a player that needs to be replaced or added for ANY reason (including injury, illness, family emergencies, scheduling conflicts, traveling out of town, etc.) you will need to use the Player Change Form available under PLAY on the BAM Jam website, click here.

You can email these through Thursday or bring them with you to team check in on Friday (DO NOt EMAIL THEM FRIDAY, THEY WILL NOT GET CHANGED!) Please look over the form for specific dates and requirements on player changes for your team.

Protests

All protests must come from an opposing team within the first 5 minutes of your game (ie you can’t wait until the game is over) or within the first 5 minutes of the infraction. Please see the Rules section online for more details.

Where to stay

If you are coming in from out of town and need a place to stay, one of the best hotels around is the Hampton Inn and Suites Downtown. It is minutes from the tournament, near great restaurants and shopping and at a great rate. Contact the Hampton Inn at (208) 331-1900.

Bracket and Map

We hope to have brackets posted by Thursday night on the BAM Jam website. Note that these brackets are tentative and you will get the most up to date version at team check in. You will also receive a map with your court location.

To get updates, you can go to our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/bamjambasketball), check us on Instagram (bam_jam_boise) or follow us on Twitter (www.twitter.com/bamjamboise). These are the best ways to get instant updates in the case of emergencies, weather issues, etc.

Please note that this is a three game guarantee tournament. That means that if you lose your first two games, you will still have a third game. Check the Master Scoreboard to see where you play. If you have questions, be sure to ask someone at the Master Scoreboard.

Volunteers

The majority of BAM Jam is run by volunteers and their efforts. This includes the Court Monitors on your court. You must treat them with complete respect at all times. Nothing less will be tolerated. They are giving their very best so let’s support them with our respect!

Thanks so much and we’ll see you Friday at Even Stevens for team check in![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”799″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
