High School OPEN Division

BAM Jam is bringing back the High School OPEN Division to this summer’s BAM Jam 3 on 3 basketball tournament, August 4-6 at Indian Creek Plaza in Caldwell, Idaho.

The High School OPEN division will feature the northwest’s top men’s and women’s high school teams in a “pool to bracket” format. Teams will compete on the tournament’s center courts and their games will all have two certified officials to call the games.

Last summer, the High School OPEN champs were team Free Tay-K EYBL in a tough match up against Trey’s for Days. With part of Tay-K graduating, will the remaining teammates try and defend their title?

To be eligible, players must be in the graduating class of 2024 or younger (players that have already graduated from high school are not eligible). Teams can have up to 5 players on their roster and players can only play on one team in the High School OPEN Division. When teams register, they need to select either Boys High School OPEN or Girls High School OPEN. Players that would rather compete at their own age level will also have that option in the more traditional age divisions.

“BAM Jam has always been about providing opportunities to show off our basketball community and the High School OPEN Division will add to those opportunities,” said Vince Hordemann, co-director of BAM Jam. “We are excited to see which players will step up to the challenge and test themselves against the best teams in the northwest.”
