Winners will get a piece of a $2,400 prize purse in 2022

Following the success of last year’s OPEN division cash prize award, BAM Jam has increased its OPEN division prize purse to a maximum of $2,400. Teams that compete in the Men’s 6’0 and Over OPEN Division and Women’s OPEN Division are eligible.

For each team that competes in these divisions, $150 will be added to the prize purse with a maximum of 16 teams (16x$150=$2,400). At least 6 teams must be registered in the division in order to activate that division’s prize purse. If a division does not have 6 teams, there will not be a cash prize awarded.

Prizes will be awarded as follows:

  • First place receives 75% of the prize purse
  • Second place receives 25% of the prize purse
  • Third place will receive a refund on their entry fee
  • Men’s 6’0 and Under Division is not eligible.

In the 2021 Summer BAM Jam, No Loose Ends edged out Lee & Hayes in the championship, taking home the $900 cash prize. Lee & Hayes are 3-time Spokane Hoopfest Elite Champions and have also won the Las Vegas Hoopfest. The members of No Loose Ends have won several previous BAM Jam titles. It was an epic battle and 2022 promises to be the same!

The Men’s 6’0 Over OPEN Division and Women’s OPEN Division are played on the tournament’s center courts all weekend long. Games are officiated by two certified high school officials. Teams start in pool play on Saturday and advance to bracket play on Sunday. Every team is guaranteed at least three games.
