BAM Jam and The Idaho Underground Sports Network are excited to announce a partnership to bring the High School OPEN Division to this summer’s BAM Jam 3 on 3 basketball tournament, August 5-7 at Indian Creek Plaza in Caldwell, Idaho.
The Idaho Underground Sports Network High School OPEN division will feature the northwest’s top men’s and women’s high school teams in a “pool to bracket” format. Teams will compete on the tournament’s center courts and their games will all have two certified officials to call the games.
“The Idaho Underground Sports Network is dedicated to showcasing top high school athletes and this was a great opportunity to give them a platform to do so,” said Shane Larson, one of the founders of The Idaho Underground Sports Network.
The Idaho Underground Sports Network will be on location providing coverage of the High School OPEN Division.
And thanks to the partnership with Idaho Underground, every high school OPEN player will receive special perks reserved for High School OPEN division players.
To be eligible, players must be in the graduating class of 2023 or younger (players that have already graduated from high school are not eligible). Teams can have up to 5 players on their roster and players can only play on one team in the High School OPEN Division. When teams register, they need to select either Men High School OPEN or Women High School OPEN. Players that would rater compete at their own age level will also have that option in the more traditional age divisions.
“BAM Jam has always been about providing opportunities to show off our basketball community and the High School OPEN Division will add to those opportunities,” said Vince Hordemann, co-director of BAM Jam. “We are excited to see which players will step up to the challenge and test themselves against the best teams in the northwest.”
